The roughness that will prevent the application on the surface to be applied should be removed and the residues such as blistered paint, lime or oil, if any, should be cleaned. Painted surfaces that will adversely affect the application should be made ready by the scrabbling method.
First, water should be put into the mortarboard and then GLR ECOLOGICAL Natural Insulation plaster should be added. The whole 20 kg package is poured over the 13-14-liter water. The mortarboard where the mixture is prepared must be thoroughly cleaned before mixing and the edges of the mortarboard should be skimmed with a trowel in order to obtain a homogenous product and mixed again. For a homogeneous mixture, a 400-500 cyclic electric mixer should be used. Mixing time is about 4-5 minutes. It will be ready for application after mixed until it thickens. If the product starts to set due to delay during construction, it should be re-mixed without adding water and used after transformed into the ideal thickness.
In GLR ECOLOGICAL INSULATION PLASTER application, laths that will determine the thickness are assembled at appropriate intervals and depth gauge beads are formed. The prepared product istroweled with a steel trowel or sprayed with a machine between the depth gauge. The setting process should be 24 hours. Paint can be applied after the product is completely set.
Application Time (In 23˚c50% Relative Humidity Environment): 3.5-4 hours.
DRYING TIME (In 23˚c 50% RELATIVE HUMIDITY ENVIRONMENT): First Drying Time: 8 hours, Final Drying time: 36 hours, Test drying: 28 days.
Shelf life: 12 months in a dry place without humidity.
Application Temperature: Between +5 / +35 ˚C.
Wastage: 5.0 +/- 10% kg / m² (In 1 cm thickness)
Storage and Transportation: It should be protected from frost and sun until application time. The package must not be opened, torn, punctured and must be stacked in a maximum of 13 rows as packaged. It should be stored at ambient temperature between +5 and +35˚C.
